UV disinfection is widely popular for wastewater treatment due to the fact that, unlike chlorine, it oesn't increase effluent toxicity while microorganisms, being present in the outflow of clarification plants are deactivated and the carbon based compounds are removed. Furthermore, ozonation has found to remove efficiently pharmaceutical compounds from hospital waste waters. With the help of our UV systems and Gaia Ozone systems, water remains safe to be discharged to aquatic environment.
