Beskrivelse af Water ApS Nye Power Center system:

Den nye Power Centers Fra Water ApS, er designet til at køre, op til 18 WUVI lamper. En fælles strømforsyning giver en høj DC spænding. Hvert print, har sin egen mikroprocessor, som kan styre 2 lamper, samt kommunikere med hver enkelt ballastprint.
 
Alle processorer er forbundet via et fælles (I2C) En seriel port (RS232) så dette kort kan arbejde med en pc.
 
En Interface kort (Ethernet eller dobbelt RS232) kan sættes som en piggy back. Ethernet-kortet kan konfigureres med en standard webbrowser som MS Explorer eller Mozilla Firefox. En Ethernet-kommunikation kan etableres mellem Powercenter og PLC eller pc ved hjælp af Modbus TCP / IP-protokollen eller andre.
 
Alle funktioner dvs aktivering af alle lamper eller nogle særlige lamper vil blive kontrolleret via Ethernet eller RS232. Dette kort er i direkte kontakt med master controller, som sender kommandoer til relaterede ballaster. Alle funktioner vil blive beskrevet i softwaren beskrivelsen.
 
Nyhed 3-Phase: Hvis en af de tre faser mangler, vil det blive opdaget af et kontrolkredsløb. Den potentielle relækontakt "3-faset strøm Check" vil åbnet i tilfælde af fejl.
 
Power Centers har beskyttelsesklasse IP20. Varmetabet er 5%. Powercenter skal monteres vandret. Højst 3 Power Centers kan være monteret oven på hinanden.
 


The new Power Centers From Water ApS, are designed to drive up to 18 UVC lamps. A common power supply provides the high DC voltage for the ballasts. A bus card connects the ballasts with power supply and the processor card. Each ballast card has its own microprocessor which can control 2 lamps. All ballasts have a hard coded, slot depending address, so the master processor can communicate with each single ballasts.

All processors on the ballasts are connected via a common internal bus (I2C) with the master processor on the processor card. A serial port (RS232) on this card provides communication for services purposes with a PC.

An Interface card (Ethernet or double RS232) can be plugged as a piggy back. The Ethernet card can be configured with a standard webbrowser like MS explorer or Mozilla Firefox. An Ethernet communication can be established between Powercenter and PLC or PC using ModBus TCP/IP protocol or others.

All functions i.e. the activation of all lamps or some specific lamps will be controlled via Ethernet or RS232. This card is in direct contact with the master controller, which sends commands to the related ballast controllers. The ballast controller releases the lamp control logic. All function processes will be described in the software description.

Temperature logic: a temperature control system checks the temperatures at the rectifier. If the temperature exceeds 80°C the information will be forwarded to the master controller and the potential free relay contact “Temperature Check” will be opened. This information is valid only at over temperature.

3–Phase Control Logic: If one of the three phases is missing, it will be detected by a control circuit. The potential free relay contact „3-Phase Current Check“ is opened in case of a failure.

The Powercenters have protection class IP20. They are designed for installation inside a cabinet. All boards of the Powercenter are conformal coated. The cabinet must be sufficient dimensioned for thermal conduction. The heat loss can be calculated with 5%. The Powercenter must be mounted horizontal (boards are vertical). A maximum of 3
powercenters may be mounted one upon the other.

Because of all chassis are using their own power supply and can be addressed separately by Ethernet or RS232, disinfection systems in all sizes are possible.
